Dear Valued Customers,

I am delighted to share the success of our First Annual Agape Charity Golf Tournament, held at the beautiful StoneTree Golf Club in Novato. The event was a fantastic success, with proceeds going to the North Bay Regional Center (NBRC) and Golden Gate Regional Center (GGRC). These organizations provide invaluable advocacy, services, support, and care coordination to over 22,000 children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities across six counties. It was heartening to see such strong support from our community and partners, including Eclipse Business Insurance, Bay Club, 95.7 The Game, Rush Injury Law, and Harbor Truck & Van.

The tournament held a special place in our hearts, particularly for one of our ATCO family members, whose son, Tyler, benefits from the compassionate care provided by these organizations. During the awards ceremony, we were deeply moved by a heartfelt story shared by a current board member who, years ago, needed the assistance of NBRC. She detailed how, as a family of immigrants to Santa Rosa, they faced financial hardships and the threat of eviction. Thanks to the support from the Regional Center and funds raised by events like our tournament, her family received the assistance they needed, enabling them to continue building their dream of a better life. Their gratitude reminded us of the essential role that community and universal values, such as helping others, play in our society.

The day was filled with perfect weather, camaraderie, and generosity. I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Bonnie Morgon, our E.A., and all the volunteers who made this event possible. A special mention goes to Darrell “the Guru” Johnson for his memorable inaugural tee-off and for M.C.’ing the awards ceremony, adding a special touch to the day.

As we look to the future, we hope to grow this event, raising even more funds to support these vital organizations. Your continued support and participation are crucial to making a difference in our community.
